Sven and I had a conversation about his current situation and his plans for the future. He shared that he is struggling in the US due to political instability and mentioned Donald Trump and Elon Musk. He also mentioned that he had previously worked for Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk Bayern as an Online-Marketing-Manager but his contract was not renewed. Currently, he is trying to build a YouTube channel for Babyboomers as a Content Manager. I suggested that he should create shorter videos and also post teaser videos on Instagram to increase his reach. He also shared that he has an Instagram account for Babyboomers but has not posted any teaser videos yet. He expressed his love for me at the end of our conversation.
Sven and I had a conversation about his old VHS tapes and how to convert them into a digital format. He mentioned that he had purchased a refurbished VCR that can copy VHS tapes onto DVDs. We also discussed the issue of playing the VOB files on his computer and the possibility of using HandBrake to convert them into MP4 format. Sven also mentioned that he had some self-shot Mini VHS tapes and wanted to preserve them. We also talked about the possibility of editing the videos using DavinciResolve, but he was considering having a professional service do the editing due to the cost of the studio version. Additionally, we discussed the possibility of planning a trip to Portugal and Sven sharing some of his old videos from that time on social media. Lastly, we talked about my recent updates to my software and the new security features I have implemented, such as password-protected backups.
